Moving the Mountains that Block Your Way

Saturday, December 09, 2006

According to the 16th century swiss alchemist Paracelsus, the gnome is able to move through earth in the same manner that a fish swims through water or a human walks through air. Gnomes are associated with the fey, or fairy-folk, and are equated with earthly treasures, earth consciousness, and great knowledge of the magick in rocks, caves, roots, gems, and mountains.

Because gnomes can move through earth like fish swim through water, one can turn to the gnomes to move a block of earth energy within oneself, or a block placed in our path by another.

This spell is particularly good when things have been moving along just fine for you, you've been recovering from your debts, sailing ahead and suddenly - thwack! You run into some sort of a block....

... I am so sorry to do this to you, but this post has been moved. I have a new website, shirleytwofeathers.com, and The Prosperity Project is currently in the process of moving in over there. Here's a link to this particular post: Moving mountains

I wandered onto a website and found a link to a web page that evaluates blogs, and based on that evaluation assigns a "value" in dollars and cents. He then provides a link with that information.

The Gypsy Magic Blog is currently worth zero dollars.. no surprise there. But when I put in The Prosperity Project.. I was amazed and surprised. So much so that I added it to the side bar.. it's way down at the bottom of the right hand side.. underneath the "go shopping" links.. check it out!! I wonder if it will continually adjust the dollar amount or not..

Ok.. so.. how fun was that????

wow! what a cool picture! i love little earth creatures that can't be seen by the adult or inept. little children seem to see these kinds of creatures all the time.
and, I have had direct experience with some etherworld creatures that borrowed tiny things from my possessions. i did a garden once based on a book called 'the findhorn garden' and i invited all sorts of plant spirits and nature spirits into my garden to help it flourish. instead, they kept quietly about my home and sometimes appeared to my four year old at the time. things were 'borrowed', things were moved...one night i even saw the reflection of one little being in the television glass before it realized i saw it and disappeared.

how great is it that the blog is worth so much money? and how do they base it, i mean, it isn't like you could sell a blog, right?
anyway, i think it is worth that much in useful information alone. Two Feathers has done an excellent job on this blog and also the Gypsy magic blog. most blogs i see are just plain old boring things. htese are a joy to look at, an even bigger joy to participate in, and and amazement in the results that they have brought to the people who have been working them.
bravo!!!

I have no idea how the "price" is arrived at. I think it must have to do with comments, links from other sites, subscriptions, and possibly even affiliate and ad content. I went ahead and signed up at technorati.. and maybe if I nose around there some I can find out what it's based on. I am hoping we can drum up more participants.. and some livelier posts.

I am glad you are enjoying this blog and it's really great to have you as part of our "group".

It looks like I will be digging a huge hole tomorrow.. and maybe even the next day and the next day.. depending on how much help I have. So I think the "moving mountains" spell is just perfect for tonight. I am going to also make a little "offering" to the gnomes on my land and ask for their help. Does anyone have any ideas what would constitute a good offering???

"little children seem to see these kinds of creatures all the time"

Maybe adults can't see them but we can feel them and sense their work done when we wake up with the sun shining on us warmly... we know that they have done their work. All we have to do is ask for their help!~

Hi everbody,

It has been a long time! I am having so much fun doing the gypsy magic stuff. It seems to be working for me.

To start it off I got my hot water heater and got it installed. Yeah!!!

Then one day me and my husband were going to go do laundry and we didn't have very much money, so we were going to make the most of it. When we got to the laundry matt and started doing our laundry one of the washes already had money in it so we got that washer for free. Then we went to the gas station and we got gas and 2 packs of cigeretts and the cashier didn't charge us for one of the packs. Oh, and I almost forgot the whole reason we had money is because we wanted to take back this foot massager and get our money back and we couldn't find the receipt, the when my husband was looking in his pants for something else he found it. This is so cool.

Also before that we were thinking how are we going to have enough money to get our phone turned on and pay our other bills. Then my husband decided to go check the mail and there was something in there from H&R Block. It said that brand new this year they are going to start giving out loans up to 1500.00 of your tax return. So we went to find out if we could get it and we did!!!! That was so cool, that was how we got our phone on and got tires and all the other stuff we needed. So this stuff seems to be working for me.

I am also having alot of fun doing the spells. I will talk to you tomorrow bye!

Welcome back, Saskia! I'm so happy things are getting prosperous for you!

Two Feathers, I keep forgetting to tell you that ever since you changed your picture to an owl I laugh, since it says right under that that you "like mice". Do they taste like chicken?

I'm looking forward to Sunday night!

Well, I did the "MovingMountains" spell, and it was certainly interesting. First off.. I used potting mix.. and a collander instead of dirt and a sieve.. and what happened was that it was a very long and involved process to get it to go thru the holes.. it took me forever!! And I was thinking about how I was doing the spell to break through my mountain of debt and that maybe it would turn out to be a long and involved process that would take a lot of work on my part.

This spell took the longest of any of them so far. And that's because it took so long to get the soil to go through the holes of the colander.

I then dumped it out - at midnight - at a crossroads. And that was fun. The moon was peeking through the clouds, it was cold, the wind was blowing, and I felt really "witchy" doing it.

So we'll see what happens!
