My biggest problem is

ESCHER SYMETRY

This one is tricky - it just might show you one or two of the many ways in which you avoid taking care of problems as they occur. Finish this sentence with the first words that come into your mind:

My biggest problem is ___________. I could solve it with _______________, but right now, I'm going to ______________ and ________________.

If you like what you just said... that's great! If what you just said shows you something uncomfortable about yourself that you'd like to change, now is the time to take steps to make some changes. Start first with that thought, how can you rewrite the sentence in a more positive way, and still make it sound and feel true for you?

Remember, if you rewrite the sentence to be how you "wish" it was, or how you think it "should" be, or even how you "want" it to be, it will not have nearly the effectiveness as it will if you can rewrite it in such a way that you KNOW the truth of it.

As always, we all love to see what other people write - so log on and share. Something you say might be really helpful to those of us who read it.

My biggest problem (today) is that I'm really tired. I could solve this problem with caffeine and/or determination, but right now I'm going to just sit here on and fiddle around on the internet like a zombie and feel overwhelmed.

Yep.

That just about sums up my day.

Ok... so... how can I change it?

My biggest problem (today) is that I am really really tired and I have lots of stuff that I need to do before work tomorrow. So, right now, I'm going to get dressed and do some laundry. That way, even if I don't have my stuff done, I'll at least have something to wear.

It's not a great answer - but it's better than the zombie thing!!

Ok. Time to come clean. "My biggest problem is overextension of debt and the crappy emotions that seem to accompany it. I could solve it with a huge windfall of cash, like lottery winnings or a nice book contract. But right now I'm going to file bankruptcy and start all over."
Ouch, I said it. It was a rough day yesterday beginning to file bankruptcy and I'm devastated to lose my honor, integrity and the fight I have put up for 3 years to avoid this. I'm pretty weepy. Ok, very weepy. Isn't that lame? Of course, all those feelings are in my head and I know I am truly blessed and have great things ahead. I'm such a lucky girl! This site sure has helped me through the internal struggle and I believe that this is a life lesson for me to really RELEASE the importance of money and look at it in a new way. Ha! I have no choice! Some of us need to be bashed over the head with our lessons, don't we?

So, with a fresh start in mind:
"My biggest problem is all this darn cash I have! I could solve it by a major shopping spree, but right now I'm going to enjoy helping my kids and putting some into a nice savings account."

Karla - congratulations on the fresh new start you have been able to give yourself! Bankruptsy has a lot of shame and blame attached to it, but in reality, it's pretty cool that you can have your debts "forgiven" and be able to start over again fresh.

My biggest problem today is that I have so many things that I want to do and not enough time to do them... unlike yesterday when I had so much time and not enough energy...

Time - energy - money - I never seem to have all three at the same time!

To Karla,
Congratulations - you did it!
Although I have a debt payment that brings up shame for me at times, I am also free of the creepy creatures bothering my conscience and free to follow my dreams on a different level. I asked someone for help and guess what they took it on for me. Yahoo!

2 feathers - you are amazing and you look smashing!!

My biggest problem is taking action so I can solve it by making solid decisions but right now I will enjoy , observe and let now be enough.
thank you
