The fifth insight is that everything, whether it is an experience or an attitude or an object, contains it's opposite. In fact, whatever you have right now, good or bad, contains its counterpart. No matter how deep you may be in the depths of depression, for example, if you identify its opposite - joy or gratitude - and pay attention to it, you'll see that it starts to grow in your awareness.
Removing your attention from despair and placing it on happiness actually makes the new feeling blossom. Similarly, if you're at the heights of ecstasy, be aware that its opposite walks by its side. By being mindful of this principle - that all creation is based on the co-creation and co-existence of opposites - you can use the quality of your attention to bring out whatever aspect of experience you desire.

So, today I'm having major anxiety for various reasons.... I'm going to try this, I'm going to focus on something that "feels" safe to me... something that brings me a feeling of NOT being anxious...
Ok... I'm thinking.... hmmm.... uh.... thinking some more.... well... I wonder what that would be...
