Me Time

Self-Made Millionaires are not smarter or better than you. They have just discovered these secrets and used them to become wealthy. You can do it too.

Here is secret #16:

MAKE TIME TO BE ALONE. This time is for planning and listening to what's inside you. Give your creativity time and silence to speak to you.

Yes! I say yes and yes again. I love this one. It's important - and since I live alone it shouldn't be too difficult. Why is it that I don't have this structured into my daily routine? How is it that I fritter this time away on mindless trivia?

Open Yourself to Creativity

Imagination and intuition are keys to creativity. The subconscious mind is the home to your imagination and your intuition. And the key to opening up the subconscious and accessing the creative part of yourself is through relaxation. This little self-hypnosis script is designed to help you open yourself to creative thoughts and intuition.

Step 1. Get comfortable in a place where you can relax and won't be disturbed. To help you relax further, you might turn on some relaxing music (nothing with lyrics though) or listen to a self-hypnosis relaxation induction. Close your eyes and once you're deeply relaxed, go to the next step.

Step 2. Imagine your mind opening up the way a flower opens up to receive the rays of the sun or moisture from the rain. Picture a flower in full bloom opening itself up fully and feel your mind opening at the same time. The key here is just to feel yourself opening up and being receptive to new, creative thoughts and intuition. Then repeat the following phrase three times:

"I open myself fully to receive creative thoughts and intuition."

Step 3. After you've repeated the phrase three times, then take a deep breath and relax even more. Then visualize or think about whatever area it is you would like to use your creativity. This sends a message to your subconscious mind about the area you want to use your creativity and intuition on. Take another deep breath and relax. Then wait for creative thoughts to arise. It's extremely important not to think thoughts but rather allow them to come up for you. It may take a few times to get used to allowing thoughts or images to come up for you as opposed to trying to think new thoughts. Once you've received creative thoughts from your subconscious, write them down. And that's it.

Here's something fun!

While we wait for me to get the Mastermind Project wrapped up, and the next project organized, I thought we could do something really fun.

I found a nifty little website with a really cool tool that allows you to create your own Southpark persona. I had so much fun playing around there, creating different funny characters. Finally I came up with "me at southpark" which I posted on Shirley Twofeathers .

I thought it would be really fun if we all did this here at the prosperity project. My idea being that it would be a great way to share a little more of "who" we are. Here is the link: http://www.sp-studio.de/

The instructions on how to save your person are a little bit confusing. Basically, what you have to do is use a screen capture to grab the image, and then you have to take that screen capture image into a graphics program and crop out your little person. Which is a lot easier than it sounds.

Here's a how to: Go to the website and create someone. Play around and have fun with it. When you have someone that you like, you can then save the image.

• On your keyboard somewhere there should be a key that says "print screen".
• Press that key when you have your person just how you want them to be.
• Nothing (that you can see) will happen when you press the key.
• Now, minimize the page you have open at South Park Studio.
• In a new window, open up a graphics program like Paint, Microsoft Photo Editor, Adobe, Paint Shop Pro, Gimp, whatever graphics program you happen to have.
• Once you get the program open, you may need to open a "new" file.
• At which point you can "paste" your image.
• What you paste will look identical to what was on your screen when you made your "persona".
• Crop your person out of the picture,
• save it as a jpeg, and there you are!
  

I'm sure that's about as clear as mud. If you have problems with it, let me know and I'll do what I can to help.

When you get the image finished, email me a copy of it, and I'll make us a "The Prosperity Project Goes Southpark" post and put all of them there. We could even write a little something about ourselves to include with each one ...

Make a Papier Mache Ganesh

A simple method for a paper mache Ganesh

The materials needed are:

- Paper mache
- Latex or other water-based paint in a variety of colors
- Gold-leaf or metallic gold paint
- Paint brushes
- Sand paper
- Putty or joint compound
- Miscellaneous ornaments and cloth for dressing the image
- Replicas of the various implements he will be holding

- Mix paper mache to a firm but homogeneously wet consistency....

Removing hazardous elements - creativity and children

Children & Creativity area:

Fire is not good for this area. If you have a fireplace in this area, you can cure it by placing a large mirror over the fireplace, or a large picture of water. Carved ducks and fish can bring in the water element also. Candles are not good for this area.

Red is not good here. Red keeps your creativity fired up all the time and can eventually burn you out.

Triangular and pointy objects also represent fire and do not belong here.

If anything is literally blocked in this area, such as doors, drawers, furniture, walkways – unblock it immediately so the energy can flow freely to all areas.
