Michelle found a really great site by the Yunsai Society. Take a look at their One Heart Song Prayer Circle. Their newsletter has some incredible stuff in it - here is an exerpt:
On the medicine wheel our animal representative of the east direction is the eagle. The eagle lets us rise above the situation and look at things from a greater perspective. Go outside and look up at the great expansiveness, the direction of above, the heavens, the universe. Realize that since you breath, your existence in every moment is verified and sanctified as integral to the whole of the workings of the universe.
So sorry to do this, but this project has been moved and can be found in its new home Praying For Prosperity at the new and improved Prosperity Project hosted at shirleytwofeathers.com. And can be found in its entirety here: Words of Wisdom
Bright blessings. I hope to see you there!

Thank you Michelle for finding that cool site.
I read the newsletter article and then I went outside, and the sunrise this morning was just spectacular. And I began to feel safer and more beloved of the universe.
I don't know if I am having much result in terms of "prosperity" due to prayer. But I am learning really a lot.
Early this morning (I forgot to reset my alarm clock) I was feeling so down and discouraged. I found myself in the midst of an email rant about how prayer really doesn't work. MY proofs being that if you go out in the rain you will get wet.. ergo.. rain works (or water is effective), if you plant a seed it will grow.. ergo.. planting seeds works.
But then it occured to me that this isn't necessarily true. For example: If you go out in the rain but are covered from head to toe in rain gear, there is a strong possiblity that you wouldn't get wet at all. And if you plant a seed, but fail to water it, or if you plant it in.. say.. modeling clay instead of potting soil.. or if you plant it outside in the dead of winter.. or the dog days of summer.. well.. it just might not grow.. and there are seeds that will germinate so easily that all you have to do is get them wet.. beans for example.. and then there are seeds that are so hard to grow that greenhouses won't even try to grow them.. like rose seeds for example.. so..
So.. I guess it all boils down to following the basic steps, and hoping that what you are praying for is indeed viable.
I think I will work on figuring out what those basic steps are.
Love you guys..
Today I hope to be giving our site a little face lift. So if you log on, and things look a little odd, never fear.. it's just me working in the background.
I tried to submit a prayer request to the Unsai Society, but I kept getting an AT&T Yahoo mail error. Has anyone else had trouble with it?
oops.. I mean the Yunsai Society..
Boy will you guys get a surprise when you log in!!
I know the color of the links is too light, and I am going to work on tweaking the various colors so they will be easier to see.. but what do you think so far??
Except for the link colors I like it.. now I have to figure out how to get our ads back.. anyway.. let me know what you think.
hello! what a cool new look. what does it say up at the top? i can't read it on my screen....looks like scripty stuff real light then some tiny scripty stuff. anyway...i wrote a post this morning and it took about a half an hour...then i submitted it and it said page not found and was lost! arrgh! now because of swiss cheese brain i cannot remember it. anyway....i have not actually emailed the yunsai society....i just spent hours poring over their site. i will try today, though.
oh yeah. and what is the latin under other things?
Hi.
I spent all day sick and sleeping, and then this evening I helped two feathers get the adsense back on the site, and also to change the fonts around.
Tomorrow my phone will be turned off, so I won't be posting for a while. I didn't have a chance to check out the native american website.
And even though my prosperity has yet to come through for me, I do really enjoy this whole idea. So I will miss you guys, and I will be participating, I just won't be able to post very often.
