Words of wisdom

Michelle found a really great site by the Yunsai Society. Take a look at their One Heart Song Prayer Circle. Their newsletter has some incredible stuff in it - here is an exerpt:

On the medicine wheel our animal representative of the east direction is the eagle. The eagle lets us rise above the situation and look at things from a greater perspective. Go outside and look up at the great expansiveness, the direction of above, the heavens, the universe. Realize that since you breath, your existence in every moment is verified and sanctified as integral to the whole of the workings of the universe.

So sorry to do this, but this project has been moved and can be found in its new home Praying For Prosperity at the new and improved Prosperity Project hosted at shirleytwofeathers.com. And can be found in its entirety here: Words of Wisdom

Bright blessings. I hope to see you there!

Thank you Michelle for finding that cool site.

I read the newsletter article and then I went outside, and the sunrise this morning was just spectacular. And I began to feel safer and more beloved of the universe.

I don't know if I am having much result in terms of "prosperity" due to prayer. But I am learning really a lot.

Early this morning (I forgot to reset my alarm clock) I was feeling so down and discouraged. I found myself in the midst of an email rant about how prayer really doesn't work. MY proofs being that if you go out in the rain you will get wet.. ergo.. rain works (or water is effective), if you plant a seed it will grow.. ergo.. planting seeds works.

But then it occured to me that this isn't necessarily true. For example: If you go out in the rain but are covered from head to toe in rain gear, there is a strong possiblity that you wouldn't get wet at all. And if you plant a seed, but fail to water it, or if you plant it in.. say.. modeling clay instead of potting soil.. or if you plant it outside in the dead of winter.. or the dog days of summer.. well.. it just might not grow.. and there are seeds that will germinate so easily that all you have to do is get them wet.. beans for example.. and then there are seeds that are so hard to grow that greenhouses won't even try to grow them.. like rose seeds for example.. so..

So.. I guess it all boils down to following the basic steps, and hoping that what you are praying for is indeed viable.

I think I will work on figuring out what those basic steps are.

Love you guys..

Today I hope to be giving our site a little face lift. So if you log on, and things look a little odd, never fear.. it's just me working in the background.

I tried to submit a prayer request to the Unsai Society, but I kept getting an AT&T Yahoo mail error. Has anyone else had trouble with it?

Hi.
I spent all day sick and sleeping, and then this evening I helped two feathers get the adsense back on the site, and also to change the fonts around.
Tomorrow my phone will be turned off, so I won't be posting for a while. I didn't have a chance to check out the native american website.
And even though my prosperity has yet to come through for me, I do really enjoy this whole idea. So I will miss you guys, and I will be participating, I just won't be able to post very often.

I got prosperity in the form of 27 hours of overtime last week. I had to go to San Antontio for my job (a conference we were hosting) and it was fabulous and fantastic and I made a ton of new friends and got paid for about 11 hours a day. But I had to work 8 days in a row and I'm super tired right now. Thank God I get tomorrow off. But I figure that 27 hours of OT is prosperity! Sure, I had to work for it, but it's still WAY over and above anything I had anticipated receiving this month! While I was there, all my meals and hotel were covered, so there wasn't anything I had to pay out of my own pocket. So that's prosperity too. And I wasn't as homesick as I thought I would be, and I made new friends, and got re-energized about work, so that's all abundance too.
I love the look of the site! It's slick and sassy! Bring on the prosperity! :)

I just added up all my unexpected overtime and a small gift check that I received in the last three weeks, and I've already rec'd or earned $850 over what I would normally expect - remember my goal was to receive $1,000 over my normal expected income. Sure, I had to work for most of it, but it still counts as prosperity! So I'm almost to my goal! I am tired though, so maybe next time I should specify that I want to be energized, not drained, while I'm pursuing these new opportunities...I'm really thankful to have the money coming in because my husband was in school the whole last year and wasn't working, so we are just now getting back to having two steady incomes, and this extra prosperity will help us meet our needs.
