Are you looking for me?

Tuesday, May 22, 2007

Are you looking for me? I am in the next seat.
My shoulder is against yours.
You will not find me in stupas, not in Indian shrine rooms, nor in synagogues, nor in cathedrals:
not in masses, nor kirtans, not in legs winding around your own neck, nor in eating nothing but vegetables.
When you really look for me, you will see me instantly-
you will find me in the tiniest house of time.

Kabir says: Student, tell me what is God?
He is the breath inside the breath.

Ok guys... I am wondering how everyone else is doing because I am really trying but I am not succeeding at actually "feeling" or "finding" God within me...

I do have less anxiety. That's true. But that's about it... Is anyone else having the same problem I am? Does anyone have any suggestions, insights, or solutions?

Well, I am having A LOT of things come up financially and health-wise this month, and I keep telling myself "My worrying about it won't do anything to fix it, so I may as well not worry. I am putting my complete trust in you, God, to get us through this." I repeated that yesterday over and over and over, and it did help me to release most of the worry and anxiety, and I did feel my trust going to a deeper level inside. I am just having to CONSTANTLY live in that prayer. It must get easier. It must!
