I've had the interesting experience of watching a task become a habit! My commitment for this project is to do an attunement a day. And I've been keeping that commitment, but I've been consistently putting it off until the last minute. Then, I was able to negotiate a change in my work schedule that enables me to do the attunement in the morning - and guess what? I'm feeling ... a little lost, and vaguely disappointed about not doing it at the very last minute, like I'm missing something. Isn't that cool? Not even 30 days, and it feels like an important and necessary part of my day to day life. I can't wait to implement my next commitment - and by the way - I'm loving the concept of "renegotiation" and have been using it.

Shirley, I wonder if doing the attunement later in the day is GOOD. Maybe your body and spirit miss that you a re ending your day in that way? Perhaps you are more at peace when not gearing up for the day in the morning or fitting it in the middle f hectic activity. What if the LOST feeling is a subtle way of telling you, "Hey, it wasn't broke, don't fix it!" What if, all along, you weren't really procrastinating at all, but were subconsciously choosing the perfect time? Awesome!

I think it's fantastic that you have stuck to it! Keep up the good work and regardless of when and where you practice healthy things, it's bound to pay off in a happier you!

Maybe you're right Karla - I hadn't thought about it that way!
