Prosperity Updates

Wednesday, October 18, 2006

Our progress so far is as follows:

  • Melissa won a sweepstakes and is waiting to see how much she won.
  • Saskia and her husband have been enjoying unexpected gifts from strangers.
  • Daniel had an enjoyable day shopping even though he has yet to see any returns on his "prayer investments".
  • Michelle has had an abundance of ... well.. read her post from yesterday.. She is now praying for "financial" abundance.
  • Shirley found some money.
  • And Cindy has yet to check in.
So far so good, I think....

....So sorry to do this, but this project has been moved and can be found in its new home Praying For Prosperity at the new and improved Prosperity Project hosted at shirleytwofeathers.com. And can be found in its entirety here: Prosperity Updates

Wealth can not exist in the wrong place.
Growth can not exist where no foundation is established.
Prosperity occurs where good foundation is set at the right place.

My goodness. It's 10pm .. am I the only one posting today?

I did have some positive things happen today. First thing was that I was at the post office mailing off a fine art print to my mom, and the lady at the counter was so impressed with the print that she was asking me questions like.. how could I get one and how much is it.. so that was a huge boost to my confidence as an artist. I don't know that it will turn into a sale.. but it felt darn good.

And the second thing was that out of the blue someone called me to ask me about training their dog. I didn't get the message until it was too late to return the call, so I don't know if it will turn into extra income or not - but it is hopeful.

So all in all I had the makings of a prosperous day.

Hello! I had a very long day full of loud cake induced birthday 'cheer'....but when I wasn't looking my mom put $20 in my purse. Now, I was not sure at first if I could include this since it was my mom....but then I got thinking...it's my mom! Of course I should include it! I didn't ask her for money, and she hasn't given me money in at least six months. Just for no reason. And if you knew my mom....well...let's just say, it should definitely be included.
My prayer person was someone different today, and the prayer was good. It sounded less like a heartfelt script and more like the words were flowing from an inner place. At the time, it seemed very calming and reassuring, and summarized what I already believe without making me feel like I was in the lunch line at the Southern Baptist Convention. Now, I cannot remember even a word of what she said, and this is only five minutes later. I know that it resonated on a deep level with me, and that I felt very centered while she was talking. This sometimes happens to me during a reading, if I am doing it for someone else....I will not remember a thing I said, even though the person found it struck them on a deep level. Maybe this means that this particular prayer fed into a deeper consciousness.
This seems promising, because I think that if somthing can work inside you on a deeper level without alerting that voice inside that makes you doubt or fear, then it has a better chance of coming to fruition.
As for ther rest of the day, no large annoying bills came in the mail, my little girl had a good birthday, I managed to only eat one bite of cake (whew!), and we all got safely where we were going even though my mom drives as if she is putting crack in her cornflakes.
I did not, however, win the lottery. Yet.

Hi everybody,

I had an uneventful day today. We did get our car back from the repair shop but nothing else. So hopefully tomorrow!
