I go amoung the trees

Sunday, June 10, 2007

I go amoung the trees and sit still.
All my stirring becomes quiet
Around me like circles on water.
My tasks lie in their places
Where I left them, asleep like cattle.
Then what I am afraid of comes.
I live for a while in its sight.
And the fear of it leaves me.
It sings, and I hear its song.

I must tell you guys that I am really enjoying "being a Buddhist". Thank you Melissa for findint that link!

Not only that, but I have been doing pretty good financially this month. I haven't spent any energy at all on "wanting or needing" money. Whenever I get anxious about it, I remember that 2nd prayer that was posted... something like: "You know what is needed, send what is best." and then I forget about it, and go back to trying to "feel" God's presence.

So, all in all, I am having a great prosperity month. What about you guys?

I enjoyed your insight - it seemed as if you were saying that when energy goes into worry it is stolen from prosperity.

Yes, I'm thinking that's how it works.. at least for me. Plus, I think that it allows me to be more "in the flow" instead of constantly trying to swim upstream. Of course, if I was a salmon, swimming upstream would be a good thing... (smile)...
