Welcome to the Random Acts of Kindness segment of the prosperity project. Our commitment between now and the first of the year will be to consciously practice Random Acts of Kindness.
Because we are not doing this project for personal gain, we will not be listing our goals in terms of money or prosperity. Instead, let's list our personal goals in terms of how many acts of kindness we would like to do between now and Jan 1st, or what it is we would like to achieve by doing kind things for others.
So sorry to do this, but this project has been moved and can be found in its new home Random Acts of Kindness at the new and improved Prosperity Project hosted at shirleytwofeathers.com.
Bright blessings. I hope to see you there!

Hey guys.. it's the new moon.
If any of you have been doing gypsy magic and have money under the doormat, or coins in the windowsill.. the next 2 days are the days to flip the coin (heads up) and up date the dollar. You can just leave your dollar bill, or you can "refresh" it with cinnamon.. or you can replace it with a bill in a larger denomination.
I will be removing the moon phase thingy soon. So, if you like it - and want it to stay where it is, let me know and I'll leave it here.
I am looking forward to a kinder and gentler time thru the holidays.
My goals for the random acts of kindness project are to do at least 3 things between now and New Years.
I wonder what I will do.. and who I will do it for.. hmmm... being basically a shy person (surprisingly enough)I am really challenged with the idea of "interacting" in any way with people I don't know.
I will be really curious to see what you guys do.. maybe it will help me figure out what I can do.
I am planning on doing at least one small act of kindness every day - whether that is just holding the door for someone who has lots of packages, holding the elevator for someone on their way, etc. I would also like to do at least one bigger thing, i.e. pay for the person's lunch that is behind me at a drive-through restaurant, etc, before the end of the year. I feel that the most fun ones are the ones where the people never saw who did it for them, i.e. paying for the food of the people behind you at the drive-thru - by the time they get up there, you're gone! Did you know there is a Random Acts of Kindness Foundation? If you google random acts of kindness there are a lot of websites listing ideas, etc. I'm looking forward to doing this, especially during the Christmas holidays!
