Our next project is set to begin on Monday, February 11th. In the mean time, we are waiting for everyone's results to be posted, and for me to get things wrapped up. So, for today I have something really nice to listen to.
So, get comfortable in your chair, turn the volume up a little, shut the door, and click this link to play the music (it does take a while to load, so be patient): Comes From The Heart
(for the technically challenged, see explanation below)
The music is from The Sleepwalker Project.

When you click the link you should get a pop up box that asks if you want to "open" or "save" the file. Choose "open" to play it right now, and choose "save" to download it and play it at your leisure. The second option is the best option if you have a slow internet connection.

I have dial up, and the player isn't working for me. I'm curious to see if it works for anyone else. Embedding music is something new that I'm learning about, and I'm not entirely sure that I've got this right. I can't check it because of my slow internet connection. So... if it works for you, let me know. If it doesn't work for you, let me know.
it didn't work for me. it says that the file is restricted and access is not open to it or something of that nature(when you click on the link.) when you click on the picture, it goes to a seemingly larger picture the same just on a white background.
Ok, thanks Michelle, I think I know how to fix that. We'll see....
Oops... well, I'll have to wait til I get home from work to do it. So, maybe by tomorrow it will be accessible.
Well.. maybe not. I just tried it, and it is working here. The sound on this computer here at work is disabled as well as the java scripting and dang near everything else, but the player "looked" like it was playing and when I clicked on the link, it looked like it might be planning to... (downloads are not allowed here so I couldn't try it to see what would happen).
Anyone else having success? no success? What?
Ok, Daniel had problems too - so I changed the hosting of the MP3 and it does seem to be fixed now. One of these days, I'm going to get really good at this! I promise.
