Finish this sentence with the first words that come into your mind:

I am ___________.

If you like what you just said... that's great! If what you just said shows you something uncomfortable about yourself that you'd like to change, now is the time to take steps to make some changes. Start first with that thought, how can you rewrite the sentence in a more positive way, and still make it sound and feel true for you?

I am statements are very powerful. It's important to be aware of the power of the "I Am" and be cautious when you use it. When we "feel" a certain way, when our bodies are trying to tell us something, we have a tendency to frame it as an "I am" statement. For example, we might say: "I am tired;" "I am hungry;" "I am sick and tired of all this shit." etc. etc. When, in fact the truth might actually be: "My muscles need a rest;" "My body wants fuel;" and "I deserve better!"

As you begin to be more deliberate in the use of "I am" and as you listen more closely to what it is that you are really thinking, your life will change, your relationship with yourself and your circumstances will improve. Give it a try and see what happens!

As always, we all love to see what other people write - so log on and share. Something you say might be really helpful to those of us who read it.

I am blessed!!

Every day I try to remember to count my many blessings! Like I have said before, prosperity means many things to me, not just lots of money. I don't have lots of money but I am SO prosperous in other ways - especially by my family and friends!
