Gathering Our Supplies

Thursday, November 16, 2006

Here is a list of the supplies we will need for this project.
A complete list of essential oils can be found at the bottom of the post, along with instructions for home made colored candles, and an easy to make draw string pouch.

Day One:

  • A dollar bill
  • If you have a five, ten, twenty, or even a fifty that can be used too. Just be aware that the money must remain in place for a period of a little more than 2 weeks.
  • Cinnamon or Nutmeg
Day Two:
  • A mirror (your bathroom mirror will work just fine)
  • A blue candle
  • You can use any kind of candle. The only type of candle that will not work would be a small birthday candle because it would burn itself out too soon, and not give off enough light....
...... I am so sorry to do this to you, but this post has been moved. I have a new website, shirleytwofeathers.com, and The Prosperity Project is currently in the process of moving in over there. Here's a link to this particular post: Gathering Our Supplies

well everyone, are we ready for Gypsy magic? here are a couple of websites i found that have gypsy history and lore.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/kent/romany_roots/history/index.shtml

http://www.gypsyadvice.com/gypsy_lore.htm

part of the thing that i know Shirley and i have talked about is the fact that gypsy magic is all about prosperity, luck, and money. also included are health, harmony, and a fair number of curses, but the act of performing magic specifically for luck or to draw money is not taboo. unlike our prayer experiment, where some might have felt some intrinsic guilt for praying for financial gain, the gypsy feeling in general is....the more you do to help your luck, the more you are likely to profit and be blessed in the eyes of the spirits. i love gypsy magic because of the smooth electric feeling of doing something magical that you know someone in a caravan long ago originated, used successfully, and passed down. and, it is centered on the natural world and easily obtainable ingredients. i can't wait! see you all monday...

I have a really good feeling about this and I actually think it is going to work.

What I like about this project is that it is centered around money and luck. I have always had pretty decent luck, but I never cared very much about money, and I think this will help me to love my money when I have it, and not be afraid to let it go where it needs to go.

If anyone has trouble finding the needed ingredients, email me.
