Each moment

Saturday, January 12, 2008

Each moment is an open door you can walk through. But at the same time, there is no need for regret, for the next moment is an open door as well, and even though you will not have exactly the same opportunity, you will have another, one that is perfect in its own moment.

Allow yourself to live with zest and vibrancy, jumping in to enjoy this life, right now. But when the moment is over, when one phase of your life completes, let it go. Keep facing forward as you move along the path of life, letting the fresh wind of opportunity blow in.

When I saw this it reminded me of something I read somewhere "when one door opens another one closes" and I think that especially when I am feeling anxious, or pressed, or tired, etc... I tend to focus on the thought that if I go through this particular door, all the other doors will close and then I'll be STUCK ... TRAPPED even ... So I hesitate, wiffle-waffling in the doorway.

And it's nice to be reminded that each moment is an open door... and no matter which door I choose there will be ways out and through.

The blog redesign is beautiful! I may not always participate (jeez how did life get so busy!), but I do stop by to check in on you!

Thanks for coming by Deb! It's nice to hear from you! Yes, the new design is better, I think. I'll be stopping by to see what you're up to - but not until Tuesday. I'm trying a new thing of taking 2 days every week to be "off the grid" and focused on the inner me.
