free image hostI don't know about you guys, but I really loved this project. It was simple, it was fun, and now it's time to take inventory and share our thoughts about how effective it was (or wasn't) and all that good stuff. Please take the next few minutes to answer the following questions.

  1. Did you work the project every day?
  2. What were your favorite exercises?
  3. What did you learn about yourself? anything?
  4. Did your finances improve?
  5. Did your life change in any significant way?
  6. What is better? What isn't better?
  7. Would you recommend this particular project to others? If so, why? If not, why not?
  8. Did you enjoy the money desktop wallpapers?
  9. What else would you like to say?

Oh yes, this was alot of fun! Quick, simple, positive. I imagine that I feel slightly better about my finances because of keeping a good attitude with daily exercises. Like keeping your feet on the path going forward instead of running around in one spot. I liked the stair one and even though I was too lazy to go across the room and try it on real stairs, I could visualize that one and felt myself very lighthearted when jumping off the last step. I thought about it later and the reason why it felt nice is I was going DOWN which has less resistance than climbing UP. So often we are told to climb the ladder of success or conquer a mountain, simply walking down is a release rather than an effort.
I also loved "Pour Out Those Troubles". There is something about throwing the whole mess of troubles behind you that was really exhilirating. I need to remember that one!

I learned through this project that if you have negative feelings about money or debt or financial worries of any kind, sometimes to keep your focus positive, it's helpful to have tools in place for low moments. Or have a plan to keep open and hopeful. Just saying once, "I want to improve my situation" is not enough, for me anyway. Everyday stress creeps in and can bring back the low feeling, so being prepared in advance would be helpful. I will buy this book. I will recommend it to friends. My favorites I will put on index cards to keep handy in a "money panic moment".

Thank you so much! Growing happier every month by your kindness!

Can I just say... this was awesome. I found myself dreaming about all the things I want and deserve, and often taking deep breaths of positive, life giving abundance! Thanks soooo much, Shirley. Your hard work has helped me more than you can know, and I'm sure I'm not alone in that! God Bless you!

This was a great project for me too. I was able to take two weeks off work AND the internet so that I could go to Texas and visit my family. Amazingly, I was able to rent a car, pay for gas, take a week off work unpaid, get the monthly bills paid, and not only that, but I have new art, a new meditation practice, a better daily routine, and I got another check from Google. Yes, my family did help me quite a bit... they are a blessing in my life that's for sure.

So... I'd say my finances improved, and my life changed in a significant way for the better in just about every area.

I did not "work" the project every day because I was traveling, but I did catch up with days that were missed.

I think my absolute favorite one was the "write an encouraging email to yourself." Now, I realise that "SHUT UP" doesn't sound very encouraging, but when ever I start to worry or freak out or obsess over the price of gas and other stuff... if I can remember that email, it works like a charm...

There were several others that I liked too... the one about resentment was very informative, the drinking a glass of water is something I'm trying to incorporate into my daily routine, and the list of things I accomplished yesterday (vs todays to do) was also great for me.

I would definitely recommend this particular "program" and will be posting a link so that anyone who wants to purchase the ebook can do so.

Desktop wallpapers? Love them... can you tell? I've got all of them posted today! LOL!

I'm really hoping that our next project will be as much fun - and/or as helpful as this one.

You PAID for gas? Shirley, THAT right there is a miracle and a blessing!!! Ouch, I paid $4.29 a gallon yesterday! I'm thinking good thoughts directed at the "Powers That Be" so prices will fall soon.
Nice to hear so many positive things happened..you deserve them!

Yes! Well, actually my sister was a big help, as was my mom... nevertheless... it was a blessing.

And the day before yesterday someone unexpectedly gave me $15 for gas.

I'm seriously contemplating the pros and cons of riding a horse to work... first off, I wonder if it could even be done... secondly where would I get the horse... thirdly I'd have to get over my fears of horseback riding... fourthly I do have a place for a horse... fifthly 40 miles a day, would that be hard for a horse?... sixthly wouldn't that be cool?

I wonder...

The directive to let it go after some of the early exercises was liberating and I continued to follow that technique for all of them, since I tend to confuse attachment with effort (and I wanted to give this my best effort). Cultivating that letting-go attitude alone made it worthwhile. So the process was refreshing, it has helped me to lighten my attitude toward whatever I need to work on. Thank you!
