Today we're going to do something really tricky and brave. Let's see if we can come up with five things that are good about our bills! What do you think? Is that possible?
Hmmm... I'll see if I can get us started:
- I guess it's good that ...
- And I suppose another good thing might be ...
- Plus ...
- I can also say thank you for my bills because ...
- And I am exceedingly grateful, happy, and pleased that I don't have even more of them!

This came at a financially slow time when decisions must be made as to which bill to pay.
As I began to appreciate all the things the bills provided for me I felt a wonderful warm glow and an outflow of loving positive energy.
I am learning to see only the good in everything in my life and this is no different.

1. The cell phone bill means I'm very connected to my daughters. I appreciate that we speak frequently.
2. The little doctor bills mean that I'm fortunate enough to have insurance and my portion I pay means I was able to see a doctor when needed.
3. I'm in charge of the sewer bill for which I am eternally grateful. Need I say more?
4. (I'm running outta steam here..I can do it..I can do it..) OK the groceries have been a big expense lately and I'm grateful that I have been able to provide good meals for my family. It's been necessary to get creative and stretch supplies...look at what great practice that is for FORMING that SUBSTANCE into something we need and want! I wanted to give my daughter an Easter basket and woke up at 2 am with the great idea of MAKING chocolate eggs! It worked..well, kinda egg-like anyway. voila'! The Easter Bunny strikes again!
5. I'm grateful for the gas we need to pop into that speedy little vehicle so we can get where we need and want to go!

Ok... let's see what I can come up with...
My bills are good because they are... MINE! Interestingly, that was the first thing that popped into my head. I wonder what THAT means!
And I agree with Karla about the gas for the car and the cell phone bill. So, thanks Karla - that takes care of 2.
Also, it occurs to me that bills are good because it means I have a place to live, and appliances to power, and a computer that can get on the internet....
Yes. Bills are good because they mean I have STUFF!!
