Running on sugar!

Sunday, September 30, 2007

I am 5 days into a dietary detox and coming down off sugar and coffee has been really difficult - actually excruciating is a better word for it. In the midst of my own personal drama, we are - as a group - depositing ever increasing sums of money into our envisioned checking accounts. If my brain is still functioning correctly, yesterday we deposited $256,000.00 and today our deposit jumps to $512,000.00. Pretty soon we are going to be looking to invest some of our money in worthy projects.

Here is a product that I would definitely be investing in, because it's something I can certainly relate to given my current circumstances. It's a prototype of a battery that runs entirely on sugar! How cool is that?

Here's the article

SONY ‘BIO-BATTERY’ RUNS ENTIRELY ON SUGAR
by Jorge

Next time that someone asks you if you have some sugar, they may actually need it for something else other than their coffee addiction. They could be using it to power their walkman. Sony, the Japanese electronics maker announced that they have developed an experimental ‘biobattery’ powered by carbohydrates, or as it is most deliciously known, sugar.

The battery presented by SONY showed the highest output ever by a battery of this kind at a very respectable 50mW of power, or about enough to power a portable MP3 player. The Bio Battery is a type of battery that uses energy sources such as carbohydrates, amino acids and other sources of enzymes and it is based on the work of Professor Kenji Kano from Kyoto University. It is still a bit big, with a length, height and depth of 39mm all around and it does take about a minute to get started. Still, the way that it works is simply nothing short of amazing.

Simply add sugar to the battery and voila, instant power. You don’t even have to mix it. So, is sugar the future for battery powered devices? It sure would be nice to if this could be the case.

A wake up call!

Friday, September 28, 2007

Today we are depositing $128,000.00 !! Have you ever even seen that much money? in person? Some people make that in a year, and more. For me, this represents 10 years of working at a job I don't particularly enjoy. And interestingly, I'm finding it really hard to write checks for big amounts of money. Even when I know it's not really coming out of my actual bank account... I'm having all kinds of anxiety and indecision. Clearly, this is a "wake up call" for me.

And, speaking of waking up, I found this really cool little alarm clock! It's called the "Runaway Alarm". I found it on shiny shiny, this is what she had to say about it:

It must be great fun being an alarm clock designer, dreaming up ever more sadistic ways to rouse us from our slumbers and then irritate us beyond belief. Of all of the clocks I've seen, though, I reckon the Runaway Alarm takes some beating - or rather, it doesn't take any beating because the damn thing runs away and hides itself once you've hit the snooze button, forcing you to get out of bed and hunt it down to get it to shut up. The little rubber wheels will allow it to drop down from your nightstand and travel over wooden or carpeted floors to find itself a suitable hidey-hole. Your challenge, then, is to find it and shut it up, without giving in to the temptation to beat it to a pulp when you succeed. Wave goodbye to that "hit snooze... hit snooze again... hit snooze again" cycle, and wave goodbye to $49.95 to buy yourself one of these.

The Runaway Alarm is available at Hammacher Schlemmer.

A Success Story

Thursday, September 27, 2007

Today we are depositing $64,000.00! If you have any doubts as to whether this exercize can work, here is a true story about someone who wrote himself a check, affirmed and visualized his success... Jim Carey

Maybe you've even heard this story before. I thought it would be a good idea to bring it to mind again. Here is a transcript of the original interview where he talks about it:

Interviewer: Your character does everything just because of the money. There's an old story that you once signed a check to yourself for 10 million dollars when you were a struggling comic?

Jim Carey: Yeah, it was a 10 million dollar check and I made it out to myself years ago, before I was working. I used to go up to Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles and sit on the side of the highway, and look out at the city and do positive affirmations. This was early on when I was doing all the different comedy clubs, doing three comedy clubs a night. I would drive up there, and I had a baby and we were living in a single apartment downtown, with the bed on the floor, and it just made me feel better to visualise those things. It wasn't about the money; it was about where I'd be if I was making that kind of money. So I wrote that check and I stuck it in my pocket and it stayed there for four years. It was a check made out to 'Jim Carrey for acting services rendered,' for $10 million.

Using our Tool Box

Wednesday, September 26, 2007

Today we are depositing $32,000.00 Wow! That is a lot of money! I wish it was real.

And when I started wishing it was real, I started to get into a bit of a funk. So, that's when it occured to me that we can use quite a few of our previous projects to enhance this one.

Here are some simple things we could do:

Remember this project is a way to set your "intention"... our "attention" should be on the present moment... and if we can keep our attention on the "good" that is in the present moment... I think this could be our most powerful project ever.

Reaching for the Moon

Tuesday, September 25, 2007

Today we are making a giant leap and depositing $16,000! Wouldn't it be nice if that $16,000 was real and actual money? I can absolutely see us doing this - as if it's no big thing. Just a little deposit. And OH !! the pleasure of spending it!

Some Russian designers have started a production of a big, moon-shaped light-box calling this project a “Your Personal Moon”. Now anyone can get his own moon right in his apartment or his backyard. Isn't it nifty?

I've got several different shots of it posted over at More Cool Pictures. Never did find a price tag for it, nor did I find where it was for sale. But I'll bet that with $16,000 in the bank, it wouldn't be too difficult to have one made.

Delight

Monday, September 24, 2007

Today we have the delightful task of depositing $8,000.00 into our checking accounts, and then thinking of ways to spend it. here's something that's on my list:

D*light Huggable lighting: a fluffy glowing cushion
On the surface of it, it seems odd that you might want a huggable light. However, aside from it being quite a handy reading light if you lie back on it I also imagine this might be relatively comforting for those who are beginning to be worn down by the on-set of shorter, darker days. Indeed, it is suggested that it's used to help with symptoms of Seasonal Affective Disorder. The soft fuzziness of the wispy, mohair-like cover conceals 12 LEDs that do the glowing.

Designer Diana Lin wanted to "promote playfulness and joy" with the d*light; I'll leave you to judge if it succeeds. It can glow brightly for around four hours on four AA batteries, after which it dims gradually. There's also an on/off pull-chain and it is available in gold, white or pink for $160.00 from Diana Lin Design and some retailers.

A $4,000.00 Day!

Sunday, September 23, 2007

Today we are depositing and spending $4,000! And to tell you the truth, I'm feeling a little lonely here. Am I the only one working the project? Are you guys with me on this? Does it feel playful and fun to make the deposits and write the checks? Or does it feel silly and pointless? Some feedback would be great!

This is what Abraham-Hicks has to say: "By writing the checks, using your imagination, writing the memos, focusing as you write, and feeling no resistance as you write the checks because there is no fear of overspending, you will achieve what is necessary in the achievement of anything. You will have made a statement of desire while you are in the state of nonresistance, or better said, in the state of allowing.

"So, not only will you have the benefit of an expanded imagination, but your point of attraction will shift, and your life experience will then shift as well. Not only will your financial situation improve, but all manner of things that you have focused upon with pleasure will begin to flow into your experience. "

So, here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to settle in now with my $100 dollar bottle of Samuel Adams Utopias Beer, and write a few more checks.

The Universe is Ours!

Saturday, September 22, 2007

Today we are depositing and spending $2,000.00 of way cool cash!

So how is everyone going to spend today's $2,000.00? Are you going to pay some bills? Are you going to get some toys? Fix up your house? Make a large payment on a new mobile home? Buy some clothes? Have a huge night out on the town? What?

I wasn't sure, so I put "cool expensive stuff" into my search bar and came up with this really nifty thing from Think Geek. I especially loved their write up about it, so I'm going to include it here.

My god...it's full of stars...

Caution: This product is more amazing in real life than on a two dimensional website.

As you should well know here at ThinkGeek we are constantly striving to find tools for you, our loyal customers, to aid in your quest for World Domination. But we also want to encourage you to come up with schemes to conquer the entire Universe (and any parallel universes you might stumble across while conquering this one). And to properly conquer the known Universe, you'll need a a nice reliable star map. The Laser Stars Projector is not that map, but it sure does seem like one. And the second most important thing a Universe conqueror might do besides conquering Universes is seeming to conquer Universes. Keeps you buttered up for the real thing. Ok, carrying on then...

When you turn off your lights and turn this unit on - trust us - you will be bamboozled with star rapture. That's the only way we can describe it. Everybody who has seen the Laser Stars Projector in action at the ThinkGeek headquarters has at least one 'Oh My Gods, that's Frakking brilliant!' moment. (read more)

We even have a before and an after picture (both of which can be enlarged) and ... Look! It's only $189.99. I think this is just awesome! I can think of so many ways I could enjoy something like this!

Hi Guys!

Friday, September 21, 2007

Hey! It's day one of The Prosperity Game! How cool is that? So, gather up your materials (if you aren't sure what they are - or if you aren't sure what to do - take a look at yesterday's post) and make that first deposit.

Then sign in here, say "hello" and write a little something about what you hope to accomplish with the project this month. This will give us a way to track back and see if we were able to meet or even exceed your goals.

I am really feeling good about this one and I can't wait to spend my first $1,000!

The Prosperity Game

Thursday, September 20, 2007

Welcome to our newest project. It's called the Prosperity Game. This game is one of several exercises shared by Esther and Jerry Hicks in their newest book "Ask and It Is Given". Their other books include "The Law of Attraction" and "The Power of Deliberate Intent".

This game works best when:

  • You want to expand your ability to imagine.
  • You want to add more clarity or specificity to your desire.
  • You want to enhance the flow of money into your experience.
  • You want to enhance the flow of abundance with respect to a variety of things.

The Universe makes no distinction between the vibration you offer in response to what you are living and the vibration that you offer in response to what you are imagining, so this Prosperity Game Process is a powerful tool for shifting your vibrational point of attraction.

In this project, we will begin by establishing an imaginary checking account. In other words, there will be no actual bank involved, but you will make deposit entries and check withdrawals just as if it were an actual account. You could use an old checkbook system that is no longer in use, an accounting program in your computer, or you could even manufacture a complete system by using the graphics below, printing them out, and "making" your own check book. It will be best if you can make this process "feel" as real as possible.

On the first day, (tomorrow), deposit $1000. And spend it. In other words, make a $1,000 deposit entry into your checkbook register, then write out checks to spend those dollars. You could spend your money all in one place, using one check, or you could spend it for several different things, using several different checks. The point of the game is to have fun thinking about what you would like to purchase, and to enjoy the process of actually writing out the checks.

Be descriptive on the memo portion of the check. For example: "for a beautiful writing pen" or "great running shoes" or "Membership in a health spa". You can save some if it for another day, however you are encouraged to do your best to spend it all because on the following day, you will be making another wonderful deposit.

Each day, as the project progresses, we will be doubling our deposits. So it will look like this:

  • Day one - deposit $1,000
  • Day two - deposit $2,000
  • Day three - deposit $4,000
  • etc

Continuing on each day, depositing, spending, playing, imagining, and enjoying the game of thinking how much fun it will be when you do this with your regular checking account. And the benefit is that not only will you have the benefit of an expanded imagination, but your point of attraction will shift, and your life experience will then shift as well. Not only will your financial situation improve, but all manner of things that you have focused upon with pleasure will begin to flow into your experience.

Each day I will be posting pictures of and links to various fun luxury items to help stimulate our imagination and keep the game interesting. If I happen on to any exercises or quotes that might be helpful, I will be sharing them along the way as well.

Here are some graphics you can download and use if you would like to print your own checks etc. Here's how: Click on the image to enlarge it, save it to your "my documents" folder (or whatever folder you choose), and then print on your printer.

Wouldn't it be nice?

Wednesday, September 19, 2007

Here's a little exercise for when you find yourself leaning toward the negative, and therefore offering resistance, and you want to turn it around to something more positive:

Often when we say, "I want this thing to happen that hasn't happened yet." We not only activate the vibration of the desire, but we also activate the vibration of the absence of the desire and so nothing changes. If we were to say, instead, "Wouldn't it be nice if ..." we achieve a different sort of expectation that is much less resistant in nature.

This simple but powerful game will cause a raising of your vibration and an improvement in your point of attraction because it naturally orients you toward the things that you want. The "Wouldn't It Be Nice If... Process" will help you let in the things that you have been asking for, on all subjects because you are choosing something you want, and because you're being soft and easy about it.

-oOo-

So how about it guys? Let's post our "wouldn't it be nice if's"!

I'll start first:
  • Wouldn't it be nice if we all became millionaires before the end of the year?
  • Wouldn't it be nice if this next project was the most exciting, the most interesting, and the most powerful?
  • Wouldn't it be nice if very soon each one of us was able to do work that we loved, travel where we chose, and could live in the places that we wanted to live?
  • Wouldn't it be nice if we could really and truly FEEL the presence of our Creator every waking moment of every day?
  • Wouldn't it be nice if our homes were lovely, comfortable, and clean?
  • Wouldn't it be nice if our debts were all paid?
  • Wouldn't it be nice if more people would join in our project?

Alright, now it's your turn!

Feeling Stuck?

Tuesday, September 18, 2007

Life is always in motion, so you cannot be "stuck"

Sometimes our physical friends will say, "I'm stuck! I've been in this place for a very long time, and I can't get out of it. I'm stuck!"

And we always explain that it is not possible to stand still or be stuck, because Energy, and therefore life, is always in motion. Things are always changing.

But the reason it may feel to you as if you are stuck is because, while you are continuing to think the same thoughts, things are changing - but they are changing to the same thing over and over.

If you want things to change to different things, you must think different thoughts. And that simply requires finding unfamiliar ways of approaching familiar subjects.

Mastermind - The Review

Monday, September 17, 2007

Here's how we answered the following questions:

What changes have occured in your life during these last 30 days?

  • I have had some big changes occur in my life over the last 30 days.
  • I have made some decisions that will have far reaching effects in terms of how I "do" life.
  • I feel much more centered and focused
  • I feel like I am reclaiming not only myself, but my life and the goals I truly want for me.
  • I have made some life-changing decisions and changes in my life
  • I was finally able to get up off my butt and actually start putting some plans into action!!

Are you healthier? happier?

  • Healthwise, I am feeling a little better physically.
  • Was able to cut my heartburn meds in half, and if I forget to take it, I don't die.
  • I have begun to do Qi Gung
  • I am happier and I feel a LOT healthier!

Do you have more money?

  • I do not have more money in the bank, however I have been able to pay 2 years of back taxes on my land.
  • I also caught up on some overdue bills.
  • I became a lender at Kiva - which feels really good.
  • I don't have more money, in fact, interestingly, I have not received a single weekly disability check during this entire 30 days of our project!
  • But I can honestly say it wasn't as hard as I would have imagined it to be.
  • I'm still here, well fed, with a roof over my head and surrounded by loved ones!

Did you find a deeper spiritual connection? Are you feeling more connected with the people in your life? Feeling a sense of greater freedom?

  • I don't know about a "deeper spiritual connection" but I have been doing a "daily practice" of self hypnosis which I think is having a good effect in that area.
  • I feel much more centered and focused.
  • Normally, I would be quite apprehensive about feeling positive about the future, but I have a little more confidence in my upcoming good because of this month's project, as well as this project in general.
  • I also feel a sense of freedom that I didn't before. I think the desire of freedom sort of "freed me up" to start making the phone calls I needed to make and making the hard decisions I needed to make.
  • I think the mastermind experience has helped clarify things for me.

Is it too soon to know what the full effect of this mastermind will be?

  • I believe that it is too soon to judge the effect of this project since we only just completed it.
  • I think maybe we can all see some short term results from this month's project, but I just KNOW that we will ALL see huge long-term results!!!

What was your favorite part of this particular project?

  • I do think that the group mastermind we had at Daniel's was extremely powerful, and it was my favorite part of this project.
  • The most powerful experience was the get together. I could really feel the energy and just knew that things were barreling down the highway of life towards me.
  • My favorite part of the project was stating my dreams and desires, writing them down and knowing several other people were visioning them with me.

Would you recommend the mastermind process to others?

  • Yes, I would recommend mastermind as a prosperity tool! Wholeheartedly and without reservation.
  • Yes, I would absolutely recommend this process to others! It is very fun and very powerful! It makes a person think about what they want out of life and how they can achieve it.

Other comments:

It was interesting that basically all of us really wanted the same core things in life - with a few slight changes and a difference in the details - everybody desired to love and be loved, be healthy, happy, and free and have all of our basic needs met, as well as some "gravy" to go with it, i.e. really, really nice cars, houses, etc. To me it just shows that people really are all one and the same, with the same basic needs and desires, hopes and dreams.

And I think it is important to note that this ongoing prosperity project has brought about HUGE changes in me, my beliefs, and my self-identity and I am very thankful for Shirley and to all of the other participants.

Does anyone have anything to add? Anything else you want to say about this project?

A few thoughts by Deepak Chopra

Sunday, September 16, 2007

"Conscious change is brought about by the two qualities inherent in consciousness: attention and intention. Attention energizes, and intention transforms. Whatever you put your attention on will grow stronger in your life. Whatever you take your attention away from will wither, disintegrate, and disappear. Intention, on the other hand, triggers transformation of energy and information. Intention organizes its own fulfillment.

"Intention is the real power behind desire. Intent alone is very powerful, because intent is desire without attachment to the outcome. Desire alone is weak, because desire in most people is attention with attachment.

"Intention combined with detachment leads to life-centered, present-moment awareness. And when action is performed in present-moment awareness, it is most effective. Your intent is for the future, but your attention is in the present. As long as your attention is in the present, then your intent for the future will manifest, because the future is created in the present.

"You must accept the present as it is. Accept the present and intend the future. The future is something you can always create through detached intention, but you should never struggle against the present."

from The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success
by Deepak Chopra

-oOo-

So, my questions today are these:
  • Where is your attention?
  • Most of the time what is it that has your attention?
  • What is your intention?
  • As you go about your tasks in the present moment, what is it that you are intending for your future?

Big shifts are occuring this month!

Saturday, September 15, 2007

Cindy was the first one to bring this to my attention, and then two people at work shared it with me. So, I decided that since this information came to me three times, I should pay attention.

Astrologically, the month of September 2007 has some MAJOR siftts going on and all of us are being asked to make some major changes this month. The month of September is the 9th month of the year and 2007 adds up to the number nine (when you add the 2+0+0+7 together). This month we have three days when the date will equal 9 - 9 - 9. September 9th, 18th, and 27th are all dates when the date is numerologically 9 - 9 - 9. Nine is a number of completion.

So what does this mean?

In this month we have three dates when we're able to complete something major and then step forward into something completely different. The something new may wait until 2008 to show itself since 2008 will be a "one" year of new beginnings. You may be doing what you think you'll do for the rest of your life, but after this month, other options may seem more appealing.

Tuesday, September 11th we had a solar eclipse, which is part of the same eclipse series we just had on August 28th. The energy of this eclipse looks like we're all hiding out. It's as if we'd rather not look or see what's happening. But that can't last long, as we get unexpected surprises coming out soon. This time we can get surprises at work, health issues, paperwork or process issues, and perhaps hardest of all, money and relationship issues.

This eclipse is also about us transforming what motivates us, gives us juice, energy, and fun. Our desires are changing, and now we have an opportunity to understand how we want to transform our lives to incorporate new possibilities that will bring us more joy.

The changes to our desires, goals and motivations are moving into new territory. So be willing to let go of whatever has motivated you in the past and open to new possibilities. We are moving beyond where we are today and our desires and goals will transform accordingly.

An Important Timing Tip:

When we're within a week of an eclipse it's VERY IFFY to start anything new. That means a week before and a week after the eclipse, when you start something new, even on a good tate with a good outcome (astrologically) it's SITLL IFFY as to the results. This pretty much means that our earliest good result date is Sept 20th. If you can't wait that long, you're basically taking your chances and good luck!

This astrological forcast comes courtesy of Madeline C Gerwick at Polaris Business Guides.

Why am I mentioning this here?

Because I'm thinking that it might be a good idea to start our next project on Sept 20th. In the interim, I'll be posting some interesting and hopefully useful things that I've found that I think might really supercharge our next project.

By the way, the image that I used with this post came from NASA. It's a picture of gravity waves... Gravity waves are distortions in the fabric of space-time predicted by Albert Einstein's theory of general relativity. The waves travel at the speed of light. At present, scientists can only detect only those created during colossal cosmic events.

Has this ever happened to you?

Friday, September 14, 2007

There was a man who wandered throughout the world seeking his deepest desire. He wandered from one city to another, from one realm to another looking for fulfillment and happiness, but in all his wanderings never came to it.

Finally one day, tired from his search, he sat down underneath a great tree at the foot of a mountain. What he did not know is that this was The Great Wish Fulfilling Tree. Whatever one wishes for when seated underneath it immediately becomes true.

As he rested in his weariness he thought to himself, "What a beautiful spot this is. I wish I had a home here," and instantly before his eyes a lovely home appeared. Surprised and delighted he thought further, "Ah, if only I had a partner to be here, with me, then my happiness would be complete," and in a moment a beautiful woman appeared calling him "husband" and beckoning to him.

"Well, first, I am hungry," he thought. "I wish there was food to eat." Immediately a banquet table appeared covered with every wonderful kind of food and drink, main courses, pastries, sweets of every variety. The man sat down and began to feast himself hungrily, but part way through the meal, still feeling tired he thought, "I wish I had a servant to serve me the rest of this food," and sure enough a man servant appeared.

Finishing the meal the man sat back down to lean against this wonderful tree and began to reflect, "How amazing it is that everything I wish has come true. There is some mysterious force about this tree. I wonder if there is a demon who lives in it," and sure enough no sooner than he had thought this than a great demon appeared. "Oh, my," he thought, "this demon will probably eat me up," and that is just what it did.

The Prosperity Project Goes South

Thursday, September 13, 2007

Hi. I'm Southpark Michelle. I studiously try to multitask cocktails, cooking, art and coffee. I have 700 children and my shoe house needs repair...the laces are getting frayed and it won't lace up anymore! All the kids are spilling out. I'm not chasing them, it would make me spill my cocktail AND my coffee!

"Hi, I'm South Park Cindy! I love animals, nature, magic and world peace. I love thumbing my nose at conventional society!! I have a doggy named Kenny. Oh my God - they fixed Kenny! Those bastards!!"

Hi. I'm South Park Shirley! I didn't really say anything that I said. Did I say something? If I did, don't worry, I didn't really say it. Say What?

Your picture goes here!
I will update as pictures come to me!
Come on guys, this is really fun!

Here's something fun!

Wednesday, September 12, 2007

While we wait for me to get the Mastermind Project wrapped up, and the next project organized, I thought we could do something really fun.

I found a nifty little website with a really cool tool that allows you to create your own Southpark persona. I had so much fun playing around there, creating different funny characters. Finally I came up with "me at southpark" which I posted on Shirley Twofeathers .

I thought it would be really fun if we all did this here at the prosperity project. My idea being that it would be a great way to share a little more of "who" we are. Here is the link: http://www.sp-studio.de/

The instructions on how to save your person are a little bit confusing. Basically, what you have to do is use a screen capture to grab the image, and then you have to take that screen capture image into a graphics program and crop out your little person. Which is a lot easier than it sounds.

Here's a how to: Go to the website and create someone. Play around and have fun with it. When you have someone that you like, you can then save the image.

  • On your keyboard somewhere there should be a key that says "print screen".
  • Press that key when you have your person just how you want them to be.
  • Nothing (that you can see) will happen when you press the key.
  • Now, minimize the page you have open at South Park Studio.
  • In a new window, open up a graphics program like Paint, Microsoft Photo Editor, Adobe, Paint Shop Pro, Gimp, whatever graphics program you happen to have.
  • Once you get the program open, you may need to open a "new" file.
  • At which point you can "paste" your image.
  • What you paste will look identical to what was on your screen when you made your "persona".
  • Crop your person out of the picture,
  • save it as a jpeg, and there you are!

I'm sure that's about as clear as mud. If you have problems with it, let me know and I'll do what I can to help.

When you get the image finished, email me a copy of it, and I'll make us a "The Prosperity Project Goes Southpark" post and put all of them there. We could even write a little something about ourselves to include with each one ...

How about it? I think it will be hilarious and fun! Let's do it!

How did we do?

Tuesday, September 11, 2007

We've just completed a marathon mastermind! It might even be the world's longest mastermind! Thirty days of visioning and affirming for each other. Now it's feedback time:

  • What changes have occured in your life during these last 30 days?
  • Are you healthier? happier? do you have more money? a deeper spiritual connection? feeling more connected with the people in your life? feeling a sense of greater freedom?
  • Is it too soon to know what the effects of this mastermind will be?
  • When you look at the above picture, and the X that marks the spot... are you visiting? gawking? buying? selling? evaluating? dreaming? enjoying? what?
  • What was your favorite part of this particular project?
  • Your least favorite?
  • Have you had any insights or experiences that you would like to share?
  • Would you recommend the mastermind process to others?

It is done!

And now, all together we affirm the following: (say it out loud and with enthusiasm)!

"I now have a covenant in which it is agreed that as a powerful being of God, my life is one of service to all humankind. My commitment is to live in a manner that sets the hightest example for others to follow. I go forth with a spirit of enthusiasm, excitement, and expectance.

It is done!"

Affirming Freedom

Thursday, September 06, 2007

Affirming and visioning freedom today for:

Cindy: I want to be free to travel whenever I feel like it, be gone as long as I want, and not have money be the factor that stops me.

I want to be able to tell all my friends that I am a witch and be able to get them to understand what this is (and what it is not) without a reaction of fear, revile or (worse) making them feel the need to "save" me.

I want to have the freedom to teach my granddaughter values that don't get undermined by her family, i.e. my beliefs that the police are NOT bad, dental hygiene is a GOOD thing, dressing a 2-year-old up like a hooker for Halloween IS NOT such a good thing, etc.

I want the freedom to live in a house with enough space to make me feel comfortable and a bathtub big enough to enjoy!

I want the freedom to believe there is the perfect man out there waiting for me who will love me and accept me for who I am!

I want the freedom to believe that I am GOOD enough for anything and anybody, no matter how I look, how old I am, what my income is, what my house looks like, or what my physical limitations are.

I want freedom from worrying about everything! No more worrying about money, my health, my weight, my daughter's health and school success, my son's well=being, my granddaughter's childhood, the repairs my house needs, the maintanence my car needs, the policitians screwing up the country and the world, etc.

It seems like all my "freedom" wishes are very much tied in to my other wishes of prosperity, health, etc. I guess that's not surprising.

Shirley: What I want is freedom from the thoughts, behaviors, habits, activites, fears, and ideas that limit me and hold me back.

I want freedom from problems with lack and limitation.

Freedom from debt, freedom from overdue bills, freedom from work that doesn't bring me happiness and fun. Freedom from drudgery.

I want to know that I am free to go to take a vacation and go to the beach anytime I choose, that I am free to buy small things like nutritious food and bigger things like a dryer.

But mostly I just want to FEEL and KNOW that I am free. That nothing binds me, nothing cramps my style, nothing holds me back... not even me.

Melissa: To me, freedom is FEELING free and BEING free: of debt, of overbearing people, of tiredness, and of things I dislike!

Anything that I don't want to do, I don't have to do.

Anything I want to do, I have time, energy, money, patience, knowledge, support, resources and aptitude to get it done!

Freedom means going to bed when I feel like it and sleeping as long as I need to in order to feel healthy, well and energetic.

Freedom means when I go to buy something I want, I look in my wallet and always have at least $10 more than I need.

Freedom means being able to support my loved ones and my favorite charities anytime I choose, in any way I choose.

Freedom means CHOICES and I get to make them!

Daniel and Michelle,: For whatever it is that is freeing, and joyful. For whatever they want to release. For whatever it is that means "freedom" to them.

Freedom

What is it that you would like to be free to do, say, be, feel, have, buy....
What does freedom mean to you?

Thank you!

Today, we accept and give thanks that the desires of our hearts are fulfilled.

Visioning Spirit

Monday, September 03, 2007

Today we are affirming and visioning the spirituality we want to manifest in our life experience right here and right now.

For Daniel: Spiritually I am feeling rather ambitious. I want it all. I want to be completely at one with what some people call the "Christ Conciousness." To feel real and lasting deep inner peace. To be able to manifest into my life the abundance of the universe through my intentions, my power of creation. To know who I am, what am I doing here and why.

For Shirley: What I want is to get really grounded in a daily spiritual practice. I want to be centered in the now. I want to be in the flow - to be awake and aware and in the flow of the All That Is... Universal Life Force Energy... Creator Spirit... Grandfather.. I want to be fully present, balanced, grounded, and awake.

For Cindy: Spiritially, I, too, want to be centered, grounded and aware of all that the universe has to provide. I want to be more connected to the earth, the moon, and the planets, more aware of their movements and their effects on the earth and me. I want to live each and every day with total peace and happiness, knowing that I am enjoying each precious minute that I'm on this earth to the fullest.
